Koenigsegg Regera 2016 (full-nurbs CAD)

This project is aiming for creating a nurbs based model for rapid prototyping and manufacturing.

The car is modeled based on real 1:1 dimensions with at least G2 standard surfaces for appearance areas.

The parts are considered to be assembled separated and optimized to be solid. Wall thickness is modeled and considered to be feasible for high quality FDM or other process. Small parts might still need special treatment for specific prototyping approach. You can contact me for assistance regarding producing the small parts.

The CAD is prepared natively in Rhino 7 with 0.01mm tolerance at 1:1 scale. It is guaranteed to be safe solid in Rhino. In case any broken surfaces happened in other software, you can contact me for further info regarding the format exchanging.

P.S. Some details are model to be solid which might look different from the real car. Render scene is for preview only and not included in the delivery package.

Parts are divided into solid blocks.

For assembly, the parts are made solid and can be implemented with pins etc. easily in any software with boolean function. Some parts are made overlapped so you can decide to make them together or separated.

High quality tyres and rim based on Michelin P4S with corresponding dimensions for both front and rear wheels.

Modeled calipers and rotors and mounts. (Dimensions are based on photo references)
